JAKE DILLEY
Jake Dilley (of Minneapolis' The Color Pharmacy) has been performing original music for over ten years. When he first brought his multimedia alternate soundtrack experience to the Twin Cities from his home state of Iowa four years ago, people immediately began to respond. Since then, Dilley has toured nationally and released two more records (making 5 in total). On a new LP to be released Fall 2010, Jake Dilley and The Color Pharmacy are taking a unique approach to album creation by putting the fans in charge of deciding what songs go on the final record. Fans will have the opportunity to vote for any combination of nearly forty songs through the band's website in the coming months. Dilley plans to showcase a number of these songs acoustically (many for the first time) on Sunday, June 20th at Northern Vineyards in Stillwater. GALACTIC COWBOY ORCHESTRA
Progressive Bluegrass fused with Jazz and World Elements - Mayberry Meets Mahavishnu
The Galactic Cowboy Orchestra (GCO) is a unique and powerful musical ensemble that fuses an eclectic mix of original and traditional bluegrass-edged tunes with jazz and world/fusion elements. Their music is Chick Corea meets The Dixie Dregs meets A Prairie Home Companion. The mix ranges from highly accessible bluegrass tunes to extreme arrangements of East Indian ragas. GCO's instrumentation includes guitar, fiddle, bass and drums. The widely versatile instrumentals are accessible to music-lovers of all ages!
They are a brand new band that is already making a name for itself in the national music scene. Two of The Orchestra's pieces were performed on A Prairie Home Companion in November of 2008!
The Galactic Cowboy Orchestra's first album, "Lookin' for a Little Strange," was released in November, 2009.

James Moors began touring the U.S. in 2000 under the stage name Sterling Waters. He has released three CDs under the Sterling Waters moniker. His journey as a songwriter began in 1995 after the untimely passing of his younger brother. Jeremy Moors went missing and is presumed dead in the mountains outside of Bozeman, Mt. With little or no closure to such a voluminous chapter in his life, songwriting became a safe outlet for the raw emotions of grief and a source of comfort and peace.

Guitarist, vocalist, bouzoukist, multi-instrumentalist, and composer Greg Herriges creates an eclectic mix of original and traditional "whirled music," with a unique approach honed by his study of Asian and other international styles. His music and techniques lean heavily toward South Asian territory, with roots in the West but branches reaching worldwide. A virtuoso performer and award-winning composer, his music and writing have found international recognition. His latest honor is a 2009 Bush Artist Fellowship for Music Composition.
